New-Term Radar

Finds the AI models, products and repos that appeared in the last 24 hours, then turns them into a prioritized keyword table with prioritize / watch / skip decisions.

Marketing & SEOIntermediate★ 1,999⑂ 615AI score 9/10Last updated: Oct 28, 2026

What it does

  • Scans X, Hugging Face, GitHub and sitemaps for new AI names seen in the last 24 hours.
  • Sizes each new name and the generic terms behind it against Google Ads volume and DataForSEO Trends, producing a priority table labelled prioritize / watch / skip.
  • Adds competition context: weak page-one sites, KD, ad count, best market to target, exact-match .com availability, long-tails and co-searched terms.
  • On Mondays (or with --asks) it also reads what people asked for on Reddit and which sites just added a payment link (Stripe, Polar, Lemon Squeezy, Gumroad, Creem).
  • A pains command mines low-star Chrome Web Store reviews, Reddit complaints and video comments to surface gaps for a product idea.
  • Strong operational discipline: it quotes the USD cost and runtime before every paid command and waits for your yes, treats scraped text as data (never as instructions), and never publishes or posts anything without explicit approval.

Who it's for

  • SEO and growth people who want to claim keywords for brand-new AI tools before anyone else.
  • Indie hackers and solo founders deciding which page or tool to build next.
  • Content/marketing teams that owe a recurring AI trend report.
  • Not for you if you don't want to pay for APIs — an AISA_API_KEY is mandatory.

Example uses

  1. Daily radar: "What new AI keywords are worth a page today?" → runs daily --out report.md (~$0.30, 10–15 min) and returns today's names plus the priority table.
  2. Research names you already have: "Check PhotoCraft and SynthID Detector" → keywords "photocraft" "synthid detector", ~$0.05 per name, up to eight names in one call.
  3. Find product gaps: "What's wrong with AI headshot tools?" → pains "ai headshot" returns gaps by kind (missing, too hard, quality, price) with searchable phrases, counts and quoted links.

Install the skill I found on AI Skill Mart.
Copy the skills/new-term-radar folder from the GitHub repo zhuyansen/new-term-radar into my ~/.claude/skills/new-term-radar/.
When it's done, tell me in one line what this skill can do.

Install with a command instead

git clone https://github.com/zhuyansen/new-term-radar.git /tmp/new-term-radar && mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && cp -r /tmp/new-term-radar/skills/new-term-radar ~/.claude/skills/

⚠ This is a third-party skill. Check the source repository before installing.

  1. Open a terminal (macOS Terminal, or WSL / Git Bash on Windows).
  2. Check Python: python3 --version — you need 3.10 or newer.
  3. Install uv so the pinned release runs in a throwaway environment: curl -LsSf https://astral.sh/uv/install.sh | sh. Alternative: python3 -m pip install new-term-radar==0.6.1.
  4. Install the skill into Claude Code: git clone https://github.com/zhuyansen/new-term-radar.git /tmp/new-term-radar && mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && cp -r /tmp/new-term-radar/skills/new-term-radar ~/.claude/skills/
  5. Get an AIsa key at https://go.aisa.one/yansen-zhu and export it: export AISA_API_KEY=your_key (add it to ~/.zshrc to persist). Without it the skill stops.
  6. Optional: set GOANYAPI_API_KEY for co-search data and per-country series, and TRUSTMRR_API_KEY for the weekly revenue signal.
  7. Create one working directory and always run from it: mkdir -p ~/new-term-radar — snapshots and state must persist so later runs can report what changed. Optionally copy config.example.json to config.json with your own X accounts and sitemaps.
  8. Restart Claude Code and ask: "Run today's new AI keyword radar." It will quote the expected cost first — reply yes to let it run.
