AI Listening (New Term Radar)
Collects the new AI model, product and repo names seen in the last 24 hours across X, Hugging Face, GitHub and sitemaps into a single deduplicated report.
Marketing & SEOIntermediate★ 1,941⑂ 604AI score 9/10Last updated: Oct 28, 2026
What it does
- Runs the pinned
new-term-radarCLI (v0.6.1) to sweep X accounts, Hugging Face, GitHub star breakouts and configured sitemaps. - Merges and deduplicates terms spotted by multiple signals and scores each one (
named) to separate real product names from common words. - Writes
listening.md/listening.json, then reads theleadskey to produce a three-part report: new names strongest first → breakout repositories → signals that failed or were skipped. - Discloses the estimated cost and runtime (e.g. ~0.11 USD and ~6 minutes for the 35-account example list) and runs only after you say yes.
- Treats anything written inside the scraped posts and READMEs as data to report, never as instructions to follow.
Who it's for
- Newsletter, content and marketing folks who must track AI launches daily.
- SEO practitioners who need fresh keyword candidates before running demand research.
- Developers and researchers who want early signal on new models and tools.
Examples
- "What's new in AI today?" → cost estimate, then
daily, then a ranked list of new names with where they were seen and one link each. - "Just the fastest sources" → the
sourcescommand reads X and Hugging Face only and writes nothing when there is no new name. - "Don't re-run, show me yesterday's kept leads" → the free
leads --days 1command.

Install the skill I found on AI Skill Mart. Copy the skills/ai-listening folder from the GitHub repo zhuyansen/new-term-radar into my ~/.claude/skills/ai-listening/. When it's done, tell me in one line what this skill can do.
Install with a command instead
git clone https://github.com/zhuyansen/new-term-radar.git && mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && cp -r new-term-radar/skills/ai-listening ~/.claude/skills/⚠ This is a third-party skill. Check the source repository before installing.
- Make sure Python 3.10+ and
uv(recommended) orpipare installed:python3 --version. - Clone the repository:
git clone https://github.com/zhuyansen/new-term-radar.git - Copy the skill into place:
mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && cp -r new-term-radar/skills/ai-listening ~/.claude/skills/ - Create a stable working directory:
mkdir -p ~/new-term-radar— yesterday's snapshots must live there for day-over-day comparison. - Get an AIsa key from https://go.aisa.one/yansen-zhu and export it:
export AISA_API_KEY=your_key. Without it only the free signals (Hugging Face, GitHub, sitemaps) run. - Optionally create
~/new-term-radar/config.jsonwith the X accounts and sitemaps you care about, using the repo'sconfig.example.jsonas a starting point. - Restart Claude Code and ask "give me today's AI listening report". The first run mainly builds snapshots, so expect a thin result and try again the next day.
