Squadra (Multi-Agent Squad Coordination)
Turns several Claude, Codex and Cursor windows into a squad with a coordinator, builders and a non-author reviewer, all tracked in a shared registry.

What it does
- The first Claude window becomes the coordinator: it takes a census of every Codex/Claude/Cursor window in the project, introduces itself to each, and only then assigns work.
- Everything lands in a shared registry: tasks, ACKs, proofs (
prove/deliver), decisions and inter-window mail (inbox/send/transport). - Enforces cross-model, non-author review: Claude reads Codex's work, Codex reads Claude's (
task --reviewer). - Every update to you shows a
squadra boardtable — In progress / To do / Done with approximate times — plus a closing "You now: …" line. - Ships release discipline: scope cut-off, whole-suite proof, a frozen release candidate reviewed in one final block, a single bounded fix round, and fixed loop budgets.
- Includes
squadra dash(dashboard on 127.0.0.1) andsquadra selftestto exercise the protocol.
Who it's for
- Developers running Claude Code alongside Codex or Cursor on the same repo in parallel.
- Team leads who want to structurally prevent authors from reviewing their own code before a release.
- Anyone who needs an auditable trail of tasks, decisions and proofs on disk.
Example uses
- "Use squadra to coordinate this project, with the registry at ~/work/registry: introduce yourself to every window" — the coordinator censuses windows and hands out roles.
- Split a large feature into three lanes with owned file sets, merge, freeze
<milestone>-rc1, then have one Claude reader and one Codex reader split the deltas so neither reads its own work. - A delivery with no ACK for 15 minutes auto-moves to another free non-author reviewer in the pool, and the board reflects it immediately.

Read the instructions in this file and follow them to help me: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/dagoSte/squadra/HEAD/SKILL.md What I want: (describe your task here)
If Claude can't open the link, open it yourself and paste the contents instead.
↓ If it works for you, download the ZIP below and install it. Then it runs on its own — no pasting each time.
Install in the Claude app (no terminal)
- Download the ZIP with the button below.
- In Claude, open Settings → Capabilities and turn on 'Code execution and file creation'. (one time)
- Go to Customize → Skills → + → 'Upload a skill' and upload the ZIP.

Install the skill I found on AI Skill Mart. Copy the SKILL.m folder from the GitHub repo dagoSte/squadra into my ~/.claude/skills/squadra/. When it's done, tell me in one line what this skill can do.
Install with a command instead
git clone https://github.com/dagoSte/squadra.git ~/.claude/skills/squadra⚠ This is a third-party skill. Check the source repository before installing.
- Open a terminal and check Python:
python3 --version(3.12 or newer is required). - Create the skills folder:
mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills - Clone the repo:
git clone https://github.com/dagoSte/squadra.git ~/.claude/skills/squadra - Confirm
~/.claude/skills/squadra/SKILL.mdexists. If SKILL.md sits in a subfolder, move that subfolder directly under~/.claude/skills/. - Restart Claude Code.
- Verify the CLI:
python3 ~/.claude/skills/squadra/scripts/squadra.py --help(a/plugininstall puts nosquadralauncher on PATH). - Pick a durable registry folder outside
/tmp, then ask in a Claude window: "Use squadra to coordinate this project." - If you also run Codex windows, give them write access to the registry:
codex --add-dir <registry path>
