Skill Store Publisher
Walks you through pushing an existing SKILL.md skill to as many agent-skill marketplaces as possible, free and paid, in the order that minimizes rework.

What it does
- Splits "skill stores" into five categories by submission mechanism: repo auto-indexers, public POST APIs, GitHub-PR registries, login-gated CLIs, and platform-hosted stores that require a rewrite.
- Gives a publishing order that avoids rework: fix the repo first, then auto-indexers, API submissions, PRs, login-gated channels, and finally porting decisions.
- Spells out hard requirements:
skills/<name>/SKILL.mdlayout,.claude-plugin/marketplace.json, GitHub topics, permissive license with a real copyright holder. - Provides a preflight check, a
skillrootzip packager, and a full channel registry listing. - Covers paid listings: which channels monetize, free teaser vs. Pro edition strategy, and revenue splits.
Who it's for
- Skill authors who want maximum distribution for a finished Claude Code skill.
- Anyone whose published skill silently fails to get indexed or discovered.
- Creators evaluating where and how to sell a skill as a paid listing.
Examples
- "Publish my skill to the skill stores" → repo layout fixes, then auto-index seeding and API submissions.
- "My skill is public but nobody finds it" → diagnose the classic causes: SKILL.md at repo root, missing topics, missing marketplace manifest.
- "This store only accepts a zip" → build a skillroot package with
build_package.pyso SKILL.md sits at the archive root.

Install in Claude Code
Let Claude do it — paste this into Claude Code
Install the skill I found on AI Skill Mart. Copy the pending/xixi048/skill-store-publisher folder from the GitHub repo aiskillstore/marketplace into my ~/.claude/skills/skill-store-publisher/. When it's done, tell me in one line what this skill can do.
Install with a command instead
git clone https://github.com/aiskillstore/marketplace /tmp/aiskillstore && mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && cp -r /tmp/aiskillstore/pending/xixi048/skill-store-publisher ~/.claude/skills/⚠ This is a third-party skill. Check the source repository before installing.
- Open a terminal.
- Clone the repo:
git clone https://github.com/aiskillstore/marketplace /tmp/aiskillstore - Create the skills directory:
mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills - Copy the skill:
cp -r /tmp/aiskillstore/pending/xixi048/skill-store-publisher ~/.claude/skills/ - Verify with
ls ~/.claude/skills/skill-store-publisherthat SKILL.md plus the scripts and references folders are present. - Restart Claude Code and ask something like "help me publish my skill to skill marketplaces".
- Requirements: Python 3 for the helper scripts, write access to your GitHub repo, and your own credentials for any login-gated store.
