Reticle App Verification
Instruments your running web app and drives a real user flow to return a yes/no/unknown verdict with the exact file:line to fix — no screenshots, no guessing.

What it does
- Installs and wires Reticle's dev-only SDK plus MCP server into your app, exposing
reticle_*tools that read the live DOM, network traffic, routing, console and framework stores. - Drives one real end-to-end flow (sign in, submit a form, checkout) in the tab you already have open instead of inferring from screenshots.
- Returns a strict verdict —
verified: yes,no, orunknown— with expected vs observed evidence and thefile:lineto open. Weakening a check to make it pass is explicitly forbidden. - Saves driven journeys as flows so later regression checks are cheap:
reticle_verify { action: "change", files: [...] }.
Who it's for
- Frontend engineers who keep hitting "the test passes but the UI is broken".
- Anyone letting an AI agent ship user-facing changes and wanting proof before calling it done.
- Teams maintaining React/Vue/Next-style apps behind a dev server.
Examples
- "Prove the pay button works" →
reticle_act_and_waitclicks it and assertsPOST /api/orderreturned 200, the "Order confirmed" dialog is visible, and no console error fired. - "Did editing src/App.tsx break anything?" →
reticle_verify { action: "change" }replays only the saved flows that touch those files. - Nothing installed yet →
npx @reticlehq/server@latestboots the dev server, opens the app and reports page load, console errors, failed requests and same-origin links as a single verdict.

Read the instructions in this file and follow them to help me: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/reticlehq/reticle/HEAD/plugins/reticle/SKILL.md What I want: (describe your task here)
If Claude can't open the link, open it yourself and paste the contents instead.
↓ If it works for you, download the ZIP below and install it. Then it runs on its own — no pasting each time.
Install in the Claude app (no terminal)
- Download the ZIP with the button below.
- In Claude, open Settings → Capabilities and turn on 'Code execution and file creation'. (one time)
- Go to Customize → Skills → + → 'Upload a skill' and upload the ZIP.
Install in Claude Code

Install the skill I found on AI Skill Mart. Copy the plugins/reticle folder from the GitHub repo reticlehq/reticle into my ~/.claude/skills/reticlehq-reticle/. When it's done, tell me in one line what this skill can do.
Install with a command instead
git clone https://github.com/reticlehq/reticle.git /tmp/reticle && mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills/reticle && cp -r /tmp/reticle/plugins/reticle/* ~/.claude/skills/reticle/⚠ This is a third-party skill. Check the source repository before installing.
- Clone the skill repository:
git clone https://github.com/reticlehq/reticle.git /tmp/reticle - Create the skill folder:
mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills/reticle - Copy the skill in:
cp -r /tmp/reticle/plugins/reticle/* ~/.claude/skills/reticle/ - Change into your web app's folder and run the zero-install check first:
npx @reticlehq/server@latest - Happy with it? Wire the project (this writes files, so only run it deliberately):
npx @reticlehq/server@latest init - Restart any dev server that was already running, then restart Claude Code so the
reticle_*MCP tools load. - Ask Claude "/reticle" or "prove the login flow works" to trigger the skill.
