Reticle Live App Verification
Instruments the user's running web app and reads DOM, network, console, routing and store state to return a yes/no/unknown verdict with the file:line to fix.

What it does
- Installs and wires the Reticle MCP server (
@reticlehq/server), starts the dev server if needed, and opens the real app in a driven browser tab. - Instead of screenshots or guessing, it reads the DOM, network requests, console errors, routing and framework store state, then produces a verdict via calls like
reticle_act_and_wait. - Verdicts are strictly
yes/no/unknown, with expected vs. observed evidence and afile:linepointer on failure. - Encodes a cost-aware playbook: replay saved flows (
verify change, verify flows), heal renamed locators (heal), and score instrumentation withdoctorbefore driving everything by hand.
Who it's for
- Frontend developers who keep hitting the "tests pass but the UI is broken" problem.
- Teams that want an agent to prove a user-facing change before declaring it done.
- Solo devs who don't want a full E2E suite but need one critical flow verified every time.
Example uses
- "Set up Reticle here" → runs
npx @reticlehq/server@latest init, restarts the agent, then drives the sign-in flow for a first real verdict. - After editing the checkout button → click and assert in one call:
POST /api/orderreturns 200 exactly once, an "Order confirmed" dialog is visible, and no console errors. - After touching
src/App.tsx→reticle_verify { action: "change", files: ["src/App.tsx"] }replays only the saved flows that cover that file, for a few hundred tokens.

If Claude can't open the link, open it yourself and paste the contents instead.
↓ If it works for you, download the ZIP below and install it. Then it runs on its own — no pasting each time.
Install in the Claude app (no terminal)
- Download the ZIP with the button below.
- In Claude, open Settings → Capabilities and turn on 'Code execution and file creation'. (one time)

Install the skill I found on AI Skill Mart. Copy the docs folder from the GitHub repo reticlehq/reticle into my ~/.claude/skills/reticle-docs/. When it's done, tell me in one line what this skill can do.
Install with a command instead
git clone https://github.com/reticlehq/reticle.git && mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills/reticle-docs && cp reticle/docs/skill.md ~/.claude/skills/reticle-docs/SKILL.md⚠ This is a third-party skill. Check the source repository before installing.
- Open a terminal and cd into the web app you want to verify.
- Get the skill file:
git clone https://github.com/reticlehq/reticle.git - Create the folder with
mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills/reticle-docs, then copy it:cp reticle/docs/skill.md ~/.claude/skills/reticle-docs/SKILL.md - In the app folder, run
npx @reticlehq/server@latestfor a read-only health check that changes no files. - If you're happy with the result, run
npx @reticlehq/server@latest init. This one does edit config files, so only run it deliberately. - Fully restart Claude Code (or your agent) — MCP tools load only at startup. Also restart any dev server that was running before
init. - Type
/reticleor ask "verify the sign-in flow" to confirm you get a real verdict back.
