Operator Memory Repair

Diagnoses and fixes Operator memory load failures through the `operator-helper` CLI.

UtilitiesIntermediate★ 412⑂ 13AI score 5/10Last updated: Oct 9, 2026

What it does

  • Checks the helper version with operator-helper version and upgrades first if a newer build exists.
  • Runs operator-helper memory check to detect memory load failures.
  • Repairs only the reported failures, never initializing partitions that do not exist.
  • Re-runs the check to confirm the fix, then reads the relevant Operator memory documents.
  • Falls back to installing or repairing the global npm package @aerovato/operator-helper when the helper itself won't start.

Who it's for

  • Teams running the Aerovato Operator memory system
  • Engineers and operators who rely on @aerovato/operator-helper
  • Anyone who wants a deterministic recovery routine instead of ad-hoc debugging

Example uses

  1. Operator memory looks empty at session start → invoke the skill to version-check, diagnose and repair in order.
  2. memory check reports a single failing partition → repair just that partition and re-verify.
  3. The operator-helper binary is missing → reinstall the global npm package and retry the failed command.

Install the skill I found on Claude Skill Mart.
Copy the packages/claude-code/skills/repair folder from the GitHub repo aerovato/operator-memory into my ~/.claude/skills/repair/.
When it's done, tell me in one line what this skill can do.

Install with a command instead

git clone https://github.com/aerovato/operator-memory.git && mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && cp -r operator-memory/packages/claude-code/skills/repair ~/.claude/skills/

⚠ This is a third-party skill. Check the source repository before installing.

  2. Clone the repo: git clone https://github.com/aerovato/operator-memory.git
  3. Create the skills directory: mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills
  4. Copy the skill: cp -r operator-memory/packages/claude-code/skills/repair ~/.claude/skills/
  5. Install the prerequisite CLI: npm install -g @aerovato/operator-helper
  6. Verify with operator-helper version.
