Launch Video (code-built product launch film)

Builds a 30–45 second product launch video as a single seekable HTML file using your real brand colours and product screens, then exports it to MP4.

Image & VideoIntermediate★ 205⑂ 36AI score 9/10Last updated: Oct 11, 2026

What it does

  • Produces the kind of 30–45 second launch video SaaS companies post on launch day, built entirely in code with Claude Code.
  • Forces an intake first: what's launching, the one sentence split into 3–5 beats, real proof assets, the exact CTA wording, and brand (hex, font, logo) plus output size.
  • Proposes a default 7-beat sheet with timings — hook, proof, product working, quality beat, how it works, the number that matters, CTA — and waits for approval.
  • Generates one self-contained index.html exposing window.seek(seconds) so any frame can be reproduced, captured and reviewed.
  • Enforces a taste guardrail: no typewriter headlines, no glow, no gradient text, no stock people, no invented prices, dates or testimonials.
  • Finishes with a buyer's-eye QA pass and a 16:9 + 4:5 export via HyperFrames.

Who it's for

  • Founders and solo operators shipping a product, course or cohort who must make their own promo.
  • Marketers who need a launch reel fast without an agency.
  • Developers who prefer coding motion graphics over After Effects.

Example uses

  1. "Make a launch video for my six-week cohort" → one sentence split across beats, with real student results on the proof cards.
  2. "1080x1920 reel for our app launch day" → the 9–17s section shows a cursor typing a real prompt into the product and the output appearing.
  3. Post-build audit: capture a mid-beat frame for each beat and check for clipped text, overlaps, phone readability and any number not in the brief.

Install the skill I found on Claude Skill Mart.
Copy the skills/launch-video folder from the GitHub repo charlie947/motion-graphics-skills into my ~/.claude/skills/launch-video/.
When it's done, tell me in one line what this skill can do.

Install with a command instead

git clone https://github.com/charlie947/motion-graphics-skills.git && mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && cp -r motion-graphics-skills/skills/launch-video ~/.claude/skills/

⚠ This is a third-party skill. Check the source repository before installing.

  1. Open a terminal.
  2. Clone the repository: git clone https://github.com/charlie947/motion-graphics-skills.git
  3. Create the skills folder: mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills
  4. Copy this skill in: cp -r motion-graphics-skills/skills/launch-video ~/.claude/skills/
  5. Recommended: also copy the brand-intake skill from the same repo so your brand colours, font and logo are captured first.
  6. Put your assets (brand.md, logo file, real product screenshots) in your project folder.
  7. Start Claude Code and say "make a launch video for my product"; the skill will ask its five intake questions before building.
  8. To export MP4: run npx skills add heygen-com/hyperframes, then npx hyperframes render (check what you already have installed first).
