Huashu Design
An HTML-based design studio workflow for prototypes, slide decks, animations and infographics that always presents three real directions before building.

What it does
- Reframes Claude as a small design studio (art director, brand researcher, visual designer, motion designer, front-end engineer, copywriter) rather than an HTML coder.
- Enforces a mandatory three-direction gate: every new visual task produces three genuine draft directions for you to pick from, even when a brand or style is specified.
- Routes to dedicated module playbooks for web/landing/dashboard, slide decks, infographics, iOS app prototypes, motion & video (MP4/GIF export), and design critique.
- Enforces quality rails: WebSearch fact-checking before design, an official brand-asset protocol (real logos and product shots), readability floors (minimum type sizes, 4.5:1 contrast), and a ban list of clichéd template decorations and typical AI-looking styling.
- Materialises checkpoints as gate files (
brand-spec.md,direction-approved.md, storyboard doc) — if the file is missing, the step wasn't done. - Ships helper scripts (
learn.py,design_lint.py,ref_board.py,verify.py) to record your taste locally, avoid repeating past looks, and screenshot-verify deliverables.
Who it's for
- Founders, PMs and marketers who need good-looking pitch decks, landing pages and mockups without a designer.
- Developers tired of the default AI aesthetic (purple gradients, emoji icons, 01/02/03 labels).
- Designers who want fast, high-fidelity HTML prototypes they can iterate and share as a single file.
- Not suitable for production web apps, SEO sites, or anything needing a backend.
Examples
- "Make a 12-slide investor deck with a coffee theme" → deck module, two representative pages per direction → after your pick, a full 1920×1080 HTML deck plus PDF/PPTX export.
- "Design a landing page for our product" → fetches official logos/product shots → three HTML directions with screenshots → builds the chosen one and lints it for template clichés.
- "Produce a 30-second product animation as MP4" → fact-check, write a storyboard doc, get three direction boards approved, then render timeline-driven HTML animation and export video.

Install the skill I found on AI Skill Mart. Copy the SKILL.m folder from the GitHub repo alchaincyf/huashu-design into my ~/.claude/skills/huashu-design/. When it's done, tell me in one line what this skill can do.
Install with a command instead
git clone https://github.com/alchaincyf/huashu-design.git ~/.claude/skills/huashu-design⚠ This is a third-party skill. Check the source repository before installing.
- Open your terminal (Terminal on macOS/Linux, PowerShell on Windows).
- Create the skills folder if needed:
mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills - Clone the repository:
git clone https://github.com/alchaincyf/huashu-design.git ~/.claude/skills/huashu-design - Verify Python 3 is available:
python3 --version(usepython --versionon Windows). - Optional, for screenshots and verification:
pip install playwright && playwright install chromium. - Restart Claude Code and ask for things like "build a prototype", "make a slide deck", or "design an HTML page" to trigger the skill.
- When it shows three design directions, reply with your choice — the workflow intentionally stops until you pick one.
