Official-Document Data & Charts (gongwen-data)
Audits report spreadsheets, merges subordinate submissions, computes YoY/MoM and percentage-point metrics with visible formulas, and turns them into report-ready sentences plus grayscale Excel charts.

What it does
- Spreadsheet health check: flags blanks and placeholders, text-stored numbers, merged cells, duplicate rows, mixed units/periods, and re-adds every line to verify total and subtotal rows.
- Multi-sheet merging: consolidates same-format reports from departments or subordinate units with unit-conversion rules, excludes off-period tables, and never sums ratios or averages.
- Metric calculation: absolute change, year-over-year, month-over-month, growth rate, percentage points, share, contribution/pull, completion rate vs. time progress, CAGR (level method) — each logged with its formula in a calculation ledger.
- Numbers to prose: enforces "%" vs. "percentage point" usage, current-period-first phrasing, no invented causes, max three data groups per sentence.
- Charts: column, bar, line, pie, stacked — grayscale only, zero-based axis, no dual axes, generated locally via bundled scripts so data never leaves the machine.
Who it's for
- Administrative, planning, and statistics staff who draft monthly/quarterly/annual performance reports.
- Anyone consolidating numeric submissions from multiple departments, branches, or subsidiaries.
- Writers who need strict discipline around percentage points, growth phrasing, and traceable figures.
Examples
- "Merge these six department monthly reports" → unit normalization, missing-submitter list, consolidated workbook plus a scope-conflict appendix.
- "Check whether the totals add up" → 18 line items sum to 4,356 while the sheet shows 4,382; the 26-unit gap is raised as P0 and the text uses 4,356.
- "Write a paragraph from this data and add a bar chart" → calculation ledger with formulas, clean prose paragraph, and a grayscale chart file.

↓ If it works for you, download the ZIP below and install it. Then it runs on its own — no pasting each time.
Install in the Claude app (no terminal)
- Download the ZIP with the button below.
- In Claude, open Settings → Capabilities and turn on 'Code execution and file creation'. (one time)
- Go to Customize → Skills → + → 'Upload a skill' and upload the ZIP.
Install in Claude Code

Install the skill I found on AI Skill Mart. Copy the skills/gongwen-data folder from the GitHub repo duyunzhoudyz/dyz-gongwen-skills into my ~/.claude/skills/gongwen-data/. When it's done, tell me in one line what this skill can do.
Install with a command instead
git clone https://github.com/duyunzhoudyz/dyz-gongwen-skills.git && mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && cp -r dyz-gongwen-skills/skills/gongwen-data ~/.claude/skills/⚠ This is a third-party skill. Check the source repository before installing.
- Open a terminal (Terminal on macOS/Linux, Git Bash on Windows).
- Clone the repository:
git clone https://github.com/duyunzhoudyz/dyz-gongwen-skills.git - Create the skills directory:
mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills - Copy this skill over:
cp -r dyz-gongwen-skills/skills/gongwen-data ~/.claude/skills/ - Confirm the
references/andscripts/subfolders came along — they power the audit and chart features. - Install Python 3 and the libraries the scripts need (e.g. openpyxl) so
data_tool.pyandchart_tool.pycan run. - Restart Claude Code and try: "audit the totals in this spreadsheet and write a data paragraph."
