Draw UI — UI Mockups & Screenshot Reconstruction
Designs app, admin, game and full landing-page UIs, then rebuilds mockups or screenshots as HTML/CSS, code in an existing frontend project, or a WeChat mini program.
Design & UIIntermediate★ 523⑂ 77AI score 8/10Last updated: Oct 4, 2026
What it does
- Locks down scope first: page goal, scale (component / single screen / scrolling page / full landing page), target device viewport vs. image pixels, and delivery format.
- Routes work down three explicit paths: new design & style exploration, screenshot reconstruction & visual calibration, or implementation after a design is approved.
- Draws a hard line between code-rendered elements (layout, text, controls, icons, charts) and separate assets (photography, original illustration, brand visuals), keeping copy and data labels editable.
- Handles reference images differently for "borrow the style" vs. "replicate exactly", so unrelated marketing blocks aren't copied in.
- Delivers images or runnable files plus a short implementation note and an explicit list of unverified items — mockups are never claimed as interaction-tested.
Who it's for
- Solo devs and startups who need a landing page or admin screen without a designer
- Frontend engineers converting design files or competitor screenshots into pixel-accurate HTML/CSS, Vue/React components, or mini programs
- PMs who want a repeatable review checklist for AI-generated UI images
Examples
- "Design a SaaS landing page from nav to footer" → generated in sections per the long-page guide, with a stitched full-page preview
- "Rebuild this app screenshot as components in our Vue project" → measure and calibrate first, reusing existing components and fonts
- "Borrow the vibe of this site for our analytics dashboard" → extracts spacing, type contrast and proportions only, then rebuilds content around the real use case

Install the skill I found on AI Skill Mart. Copy the SKILL.m folder from the GitHub repo oil-oil/draw-ui into my ~/.claude/skills/draw-ui/. When it's done, tell me in one line what this skill can do.
Install with a command instead
git clone https://github.com/oil-oil/draw-ui.git ~/.claude/skills/draw-ui⚠ This is a third-party skill. Check the source repository before installing.
- Open a terminal.
- Create the skills folder if needed:
mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills - Clone the repo into it:
git clone https://github.com/oil-oil/draw-ui.git ~/.claude/skills/draw-ui - Confirm that
~/.claude/skills/draw-uicontainsSKILL.mdand thereferences/folder. - Restart Claude Code, then ask something like "design an admin dashboard UI" to trigger the skill.
- If you plan to use an external image-generation service, follow
references/api-key-setup.mdto configure an API key (not needed when using your host's built-in image tool).
