dbs — Skill Dispatch Hub

The control tower for the dontbesilent toolbox: it reads your conversation, picks and sequences the right skills, and starts executing in the same turn.

AutomationIntermediate★ 452⑂ 49AI score 7/10Last updated: Nov 5, 2026

What it does

  • Picks skills for you: you describe the problem, materials or stuck point; it restores goal, facts and constraints from context instead of asking you to repeat yourself.
  • Designs and runs combinations: works backward from the final deliverable using each skill's handoff fields, skips stages you already completed, and begins execution immediately.
  • Numbered prompt execution: /dbs 782 fetches that numbered prompt from a fixed public GitHub repo, verifies its SHA-256 and catalog entry, then performs the task.
  • Hidden catalog lookup: read-only listing of published prompt numbers with names and purposes.
  • Honesty rules: it must distinguish "recommended", "prepared" and "actually used", declare missing capabilities, and never fake tool runs or permissions.

Who it's for

  • Users who already run the dontbesilent (dbs) skill bundle and want one entry point
  • Content, video and growth-analysis workflows that span several chained steps
  • People tired of manually choosing which skill to invoke each time
  • Builders studying a mature router/orchestrator pattern for their own skill marketplace

Examples

  1. Type /dbs alone → you get an empty-conversation prompt; paste your actual problem and it chooses a skill and starts.
  2. /dbs 782 → loads and verifies numbered prompt 782, then applies it to the material you supplied.
  3. "List all hidden skills" → returns every published number with its purpose, callable via /dbs <number>.
  4. "Write the title, cover text and opening for this video" → it routes to the dedicated title/cover/intro skill and chains any upstream step still missing.

Install the skill I found on AI Skill Mart.
Copy the pending/dontbesilent2025/dbs folder from the GitHub repo aiskillstore/marketplace into my ~/.claude/skills/dbs/.
When it's done, tell me in one line what this skill can do.

Install with a command instead

git clone https://github.com/aiskillstore/marketplace.git /tmp/aiskillstore && mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && cp -r /tmp/aiskillstore/pending/dontbesilent2025/dbs ~/.claude/skills/dbs

⚠ This is a third-party skill. Check the source repository before installing.

  1. Open a terminal and move to a scratch directory.
  2. Clone the repo: git clone https://github.com/aiskillstore/marketplace.git
  3. Create the skills folder: mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills
  4. Copy the skill in: cp -r marketplace/pending/dontbesilent2025/dbs ~/.claude/skills/dbs
  5. Make the bundled scripts executable: chmod +x ~/.claude/skills/dbs/scripts/*.sh
  6. Confirm Python 3 is available with python3 --version (needed by the catalog and numbered-prompt scripts).
  7. Restart Claude Code and type /dbs to confirm the onboarding text appears.
  8. For full orchestration, also install the downstream dbs skills (e.g. dbs-spread, dbs-title-cover-intro); without them there is nothing to route to.
  9. Note that version checks and numbered prompts require network access; offline it falls back to the stale catalog shipped in the package.
