Brand Identity Set Builder
Turns one brief into several complete identity sets (logo, type, palette), measures them with scripts, and ships a guidelines kit for the set you pick.

What it does
- Takes a single brief (sector, audience, attributes, competitors, site URL) and produces 2–4 identity sets where the logo, display/text typefaces and colour palette all come from one visual mechanism.
- Runs
scripts/brand.pyto measure contrast, colour-blindness safety, glyph coverage, font licences and small-size logo renders, reporting hard pass/fail gates versus labelled heuristic warnings. - Presents the sets side by side as identity cards on a board image and previews them on your own website.
- After you pick, builds a brand guidelines kit: PDF, logo files and design tokens.
- Supports per-component states (
new,refresh,keep,none), so partial refreshes keep existing assets as hard constraints.
Who it's for
- Founders and small-business owners creating a brand from scratch
- Designers refreshing type and colour while keeping an existing mark
- Agencies/in-house teams who must justify accessibility and font licensing with evidence
- Anyone critiquing an existing identity
Examples
- "Build 3 identity sets for an eco pet-food brand called Mossy; competitors are A, B, C" → three mechanically distinct sets plus the board image and gate results.
- "Keep our logo, refresh only the fonts and colours" (
--state logo=keep --source logo=logo.svg). - "Mix set A's logo with set B's palette" →
mixcreates set D, then the guidelines kit is built for it.

Install the skill I found on AI Skill Mart. Copy the skills/brand-identity folder from the GitHub repo fatihaydost/brand-identity-skill into my ~/.claude/skills/brand-identity/. When it's done, tell me in one line what this skill can do.
Install with a command instead
git clone https://github.com/fatihaydost/brand-identity-skill.git && mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && cp -r brand-identity-skill/skills/brand-identity ~/.claude/skills/⚠ This is a third-party skill. Check the source repository before installing.
- Open a terminal and change into a working directory.
- Clone the repo:
git clone https://github.com/fatihaydost/brand-identity-skill.git - Copy the skill into Claude Code's skills folder:
mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && cp -r brand-identity-skill/skills/brand-identity ~/.claude/skills/ - Check Python is available with
python3 --version; installinguvis recommended so the scripts can fetch their own dependencies. - Restart Claude Code and ask for "branding" or "three new brand identity sets for <name>".
- Claude's first step runs
check; if it lists missing packages, run the exact install line it prints.
