Drive the Codeman session manager over its HTTP API to spawn, prompt, await, harvest and clean up parallel worker sessions.

What it does
When Claude Code is running inside a session spawned by Codeman (a terminal session manager), this skill lets the agent drive other sessions through Codeman's HTTP API.
- List sessions, spawn workers via quick-start, send prompts
- Block until a worker's turn actually ends (
wait/wait-output/send-and-wait) - Read the worker's last assistant message, then delete the session (with a fail-closed guard that refuses to delete yourself)
- Mode-aware readiness detection (claude, deepseek), automatic handling of the workspace-trust dialog, and self-healing when the Enter keystroke is swallowed
- A cached preamble file that works around shell state not surviving between tool calls
It refuses to act unless CODEMAN_MUX=1.
Who it's for
- Codeman users running multiple Claude Code sessions
- Anyone who wants one agent to fan work out to several workers and collect the results
- Power users automating or supervising long-running sessions
Examples
- "Spin up 3 workers, have each run a different module's tests, then summarize" → all spawned concurrently in a single Bash call
- "Wait until the other session finishes and show me its final answer" →
wait-outputpluslast-response - "Split this research across 2 claude workers and 1 deepseek worker, then delete them all" → mixed fleet spawn with automatic cleanup

Read the instructions in this file and follow them to help me: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Ark0N/Codeman/HEAD/skills/codeman/SKILL.md What I want: (describe your task here)
If Claude can't open the link, open it yourself and paste the contents instead.
↓ If it works for you, download the ZIP below and install it. Then it runs on its own — no pasting each time.
Install in the Claude app (no terminal)
- Download the ZIP with the button below.
- In Claude, open Settings → Capabilities and turn on 'Code execution and file creation'. (one time)
- Go to Customize → Skills → + → 'Upload a skill' and upload the ZIP.
Install in Claude Code
Let Claude do it — paste this into Claude Code
Install the skill I found on Claude Skill Mart. Copy the skills/codeman folder from the GitHub repo Ark0N/Codeman into my ~/.claude/skills/ark0n-codeman/. When it's done, tell me in one line what this skill can do.
Install with a command instead
git clone https://github.com/Ark0N/Codeman.git /tmp/Codeman && mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && cp -r /tmp/Codeman/skills/codeman ~/.claude/skills/codeman⚠ This is a third-party skill. Check the source repository before installing.
- Open a terminal.
- Clone the repo:
git clone https://github.com/Ark0N/Codeman.git - Create the skills folder:
mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills - Copy the skill:
cp -r Codeman/skills/codeman ~/.claude/skills/codeman - Verify the
reference/docs came along (verbs.md, recipes.md, endpoints.md, messaging.md). - Important: the skill only works inside a Codeman-managed session. Start Codeman first, launch Claude Code inside it, and confirm
echo $CODEMAN_MUXprints1. - Ask Claude something like "spawn two workers and split this task" to trigger the skill.
