Animated Chart
Builds a looping animated chart as a single HTML file for LinkedIn or newsletters, keeping every value exactly as given.
Image & VideoBeginner★ 205⑂ 36AI score 8/10Last updated: Oct 11, 2026
What it does
- Turns your title, labels and values into a single self-contained HTML file with an 8-second seamless loop.
- Structures motion into four states (start → change → hold → return) so the last frame matches the first exactly.
- Captures screenshots at 0, 1, 2, 4 and 7 seconds to catch overlapping or clipped text, then fixes issues and reports them.
- Exports an MP4 (1080×1350) and an infinitely looping GIF, asking before installing any missing tooling.
- Never rounds, reformats or invents numbers; sample data keeps an "Illustrative data" label on every frame.
Who it's for
- Marketers, founders and content creators who post data graphics on LinkedIn or in newsletters
- People who prefer code-based motion graphics over design software
- Teams needing report visuals that stay on brand colours and fonts
Examples
- "Animate quarterly revenue bars morphing into a trend line, 8-second loop" → brand-coloured HTML animation plus MP4/GIF
- "Before/after: conversion rate 2.1% → 5.4%" → a count-up number that settles and loops cleanly
- "Five survey result categories using sample numbers" → chart with 'Illustrative data' visible on every frame

Install the skill I found on Claude Skill Mart. Copy the skills/animated-chart folder from the GitHub repo charlie947/motion-graphics-skills into my ~/.claude/skills/animated-chart/. When it's done, tell me in one line what this skill can do.
Install with a command instead
git clone https://github.com/charlie947/motion-graphics-skills.git && mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && cp -r motion-graphics-skills/skills/animated-chart ~/.claude/skills/⚠ This is a third-party skill. Check the source repository before installing.
- Open your terminal.
- Clone the repo:
git clone https://github.com/charlie947/motion-graphics-skills.git - Create the skills folder:
mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills - Copy the skill:
cp -r motion-graphics-skills/skills/animated-chart ~/.claude/skills/ - (Recommended) Also copy the
brand-intakeskill from the same repo so brand colours and fonts are applied automatically. - Check that
ffmpegis available for the MP4/GIF export step:ffmpeg -version - Restart Claude Code and ask "animate my chart" to trigger the skill.
