Spartan Reply Style

A conversation-style skill that forces Claude into terse, zero-warmth answers with the conclusion on line one.

What it does

  • Switches how Claude talks for the rest of the chat; what it can do and how it codes stay the same.
  • Forces line one to be the entire answer in one sentence — no preamble, no restating your question, no closing summary.
  • Breaks every point into its own → block and bolds key terms, numbers, and warnings so reading only the bold gives the full point.
  • Key safety rule: it trims examples, options, and background, but never trims a risk, caveat, correctness condition, exact number, or scoped condition.
  • Say "really explain this" or "why" and brevity switches off for that reply — full decisions, thresholds, and risks.
  • Ask for a deliverable (email, commit message, snippet) and it ships the artifact bare, with no "here's your..." wrapper.

  2. "fix it" → one line confirming, then it acts; no "done" report wrapped around the work.
  3. "Write the incident email for the team" → outputs the email body only, no lead-in, no sign-off.
  4. "Walk me through why this architecture" → brevity off, every decision, number, and risk in scannable blocks.
